I watched a coupla hours of the 16 hours on TV at the weekend. They seemed to cater to the audience taste with 1,2and 3 point shots and double that at powerplays. One girl shot 18 points in a minute.
Did you see it ?
(They should have a 24 second shot clock though)

They should be allowed to bounce the ball, and also include a backboard. Might watch it then. Actually, probably not.

One of the Australian Netball girls was on the show "Have you been paying attention?" talking about the Fast Five tournament and the South African woman on the panel said to her "Isn't that just like basketball?"
Australian netball wants to align itself with AFL and NRL for promotion (and in the process be the alpha of the female sports leagues), yet they want the game to be more like basketball. They having an identity crisis?
I don't know why they don't cross promote with the NBL. Or do they think they are too good for that?
LOL netball should just give up. You are playing the 1920s version of women's basketball.
