They need a create a play point guard, they get a shoot first think second one.

How does DD still have a job. Unlimited pockets from the owners and still no stable game.

Should fit in nicely with United's weak offence - stand around and shoot threes.

Not a bad signing.

Sounds more like Holt than Jackson, but that probably suits the way DD runs things.

Sounds like he came recommended by Andersen.

Good that he arrives today, because United desperately needs a win on Friday. Gives him 2-3 solid days of training with the team.

Wildcats use a guy like this.

A lot of Randle about him minus the handles. To play in the NBA at that height you have to be pretty damn good. Good signing Melbourne. Now for the coach to get shipped off and bring in shawn dennis

New face if he can shoot already one up on Jackson.

Yeah look if this unlocks the free flowing jack a shot trade that got the season rolling for United then I guess thats a positive. It wont win them the chip but might be able to ressurect some chemistry.
Seeing ball movement would be nice though but thats just not DD's style it turns out.

To be fair, if you're bringing in somebody at this point by CHOICE, you probably want a scorer rather than a play-maker. A play-maker will take too long to synchronise with his team.
At this point DD's aim is to make the finals, keep his job, then re-set for next season.

Dazz what are you on about? Depending on who your mob get, chances are the records could be very close by seasons end. Ware will be very good for this team.

The Cairns game showed how much they needed a playey like Trey's. Plus Goulding/ Barlow/ Blanchfeild are all going to take time to get their feet. They cant afford to drop 2-3 more games due to lack of scoring.
Great signing.

With Barlow now back, and hopefully both Ware and Goulding following this Friday, all of a sudden Melbourne is a team that's very, very dangerous from outside. And of course Blanchfield will only help further in that regard.

MU are sitting bottom of the ladder. At this point DD's priority is getting them out of the cellar.

Unlike the whole season up to this point, during which time his priority has been getting them into the cellar right? It is important to first demonstrate to your boss how bad things can be and then they will better appreciate how good you are when you fix all the issues.

Barlow stank it up the other night LV.

Barlow's career clip from 3 is 40.4%. His worst season was 34.4%.

Pretty reliable- he'll be back.

United will, at the very least, be fun to watch cos there's going to be some games where it's just raaaaining threes.

And of course, on the off nights it'll be frustrating.

But it won't ever get boring, I imagine.

After the 36ers game in Adelaide, Melbourne looked like they were getting it together. They then beat Brisbane, in which Goulding did his ankle.

Hidsights a great thing but if they can get back to that form there a top 4 team.

Im confident MU will be clicking come finals time and they can upset someone like NZ did to them last year...

Melbourne will be very tough once Goulding and Blanchfield are back, and I think they're very smart signing a PG who played with Andersen last year.

^^^^ this guy gets it.

Andersen is the stud of the roster. Get him a PG who understands how he plays and MUs offence will look a whole lot better.
