Australian Emu's 12 announced!

Can someone please tell me the likely stars of this team?

Can someone also list their heights and positions?

Thanks.

Interesting isn't it. WA hasn't produced any national players in a long time

I thought Kyle Bowen from WA might be a good prospect but obviously not good enough

A good prospect is he?
What is his bio, what position would he play and who would he replace?

Isn't Bowen about 6'7?

Surely the Emu's could have used his size?

Men will have a tough time qualifying with so many overseas-based players unavailable. Here's hoping they have enough firepower to win!

Emus will match up just fine against the Kiwis, the team has enough size and other bigs were left out for the selected players who know the system best. Those not available are exactly that, not available so forget them and just wish those playing the best,

Thanks Mark for that last comment...

NSW Country were National Champs at 16s and 18s.... so you'd expect to see a few of them in this squad. 3 of them have spent time at the CoE so have had plenty of development there.

Malachi has been entirely developed in the private school and NSW Country systems, so it's great to see him get this opportunity. Hope the team get the job done.

Love when coaches big up themselves under the old anon name. Hi Mark, NSW does not miss you and your arrogant ways.

Great coach. Got it done as a player and now leading our elite youth and young men.

Good values, acts with integrity and great knowledge on elite hoops and what it takes to succeed.

Having met Adam and spoken with him a few times recently, I am impressed with him as a person and a coach, he will go a long way IMHO.
