NBL reviewing Kevin White contact vs Breakers

Illawarra Hawks player Kevin White has been charged with unreasonable contact to the face after an incident during his side's NBL match with New Zealand Breakers.

The NBL game review panel reviewed an incident from Friday's match between White and David Stockton from the Breakers.

The charge was classified as careless, low impact and high contact and carries a base penalty of a $500 fine.

If White accepts an early guilty plea the penalty will be reduced to a fine of $375 with no suspension.

The panel reviewed the incident after a request from the Breakers on Monday.

White has until Thursday to respond to the charge.

Well if you insist on overlooking the joke, the bottom five get a maximum of $400k. And their minimum salary is set by the league.

Starting on one of the (currently) top teams as a presumably cheaper player is great for him and the Hawks.
