Kunek to France

Alice Kunek off to France at the completion of the WNBL season. She'll be playing with Lyon. Assuming she won't be returning to the Boomers next season, but don't know how long the French season runs for, so she may be back.

re: Kunek to France

The French season always seems to be the last one to finish (players in that league are always returning late to their WNBA teams), so that should give Alice plenty of games to play over there.
I like this move for her. Hopefully a change of scenery will give her game a boost. She seems to have been drifting this WNBL season.

Well that definitely explains why her minutes have been cut as of late. I'd say that and the press release both allude to her likely not returning to the Boomers next season, but nonetheless it's a very exciting move for her. Hopefully she can recapture the form she had in her first season at Dandenong and force her way into Opals lineups.
