Andrej Lemanis to return as Boomers coach?

The following article seems to suggest it:

So will he be just returning for an interim period? Or has he committed for the 2019 Worlds and 2020 Olympics?

The Boomers coach is usually signed until the end of each Olympiad and it's supposedly a done deal he will be re-signed, no doubt until the end of the 2020 Olympics.

May I ask where you heard it was a done deal?

So many articles suggest that he wants to step down and focus on the Bullets

Did you watch the 2016 Olympics? The Boomers weren't.

boomers performed well because of the players, not the coach imo.

To me it's irrelevant. The Boomers had their best ever performance at last year's Olympics and for that reason he should get to decide if he wants the job again or not.

The Bullets IMO were doing better than most expected before injuries derailed their season. Bairstow then Petrie then Gibson and unlike in the Wildcats system they weren't able to hide Beal's inconsistency.

Melbourne United had great players and are headed to the Grand Final....oh wait

Never underestimate the value of a quality coach. The chemistry and the way the players bought into the system was better than any Boomers team I've seen in the 24 years I have been watching them

Boomers performed very well in Rio. They were a bad call away from a medal.

The eye test IMO backed up their results so Lemanis was a success.

Happy to see him get the gig again.

Very happy he's decided to continue, has done a super job.

Look at the Breakers and the Boomers' programs he's built, they didn't happen in a day but they were exceptional once they came together.

Wait a couple of seasons and let's see what he does with the Bullets.

The bullets injuries were slot more dentrimenyal to their game plan due to the amount and types of guys that went down. Do some research.

Lemanis did a great job, robbed of a medal IMO, certainly deserves another go if he wants it.

After what the Boomers did at Rio, giving him the job again is a no-brainer. I am glad that he is back.
