SEABL - Round 2

Interesting round 1, surprised Kilsyth started with 2 wins in what looked like a tricky weekend.

COE are very young.

Hobart look better than expected.

Watched CoE last round, they are young of course, being CoE that is obvious but the girls in particular can more than hold their own in SEABL.

Is Gaze coaching tigers, I hear he's abandoning the shuffle.

Looks like Gaze has picked up another point guard.

Ballarat thumped by Geelong. Braves lose to MtG and NWT get the W over the Blues.

Will be interesting to see if Melbourne Tigers have improved at all. On paper it doesn't look like they have.

Whoever picks the final gems team is going to have a hell of a time choosing which players to take.

youve got Conti, Maley, McLean, Goodchild, Cochrane all playing elsewhere and they can only take 12 to worlds.

Don't get too far ahead of yourselves. They train 10x's more together than any SEABL team and early in the year they are light years ahead as a group. They start quick every year. Judge them by the last 6 games against good teams as apposed to the first 6. When the SEABL teams are peaking and have played together for a few months. They are very talented but they have a distinct advantage at the moment

^agreed, happened last two years, teams like Dandenong and Kilsyth are probably yet to even have full roster training, the Cof E kids have been a unit for a while now
