What did the Blitz tell us?

Despite the lack of coverage it would be nice to know what people feel thye learnt during the Blitz.

I know it's pre season and teams were clearly doing different things, but none the less.

Wildcats: DKD and Waxy could be valuable bench contributors. Lot's of unknowns, injuries could already be an issue.

Sydney: Perry Ellis looks like he will go ok, the young guy needs to learn not to foul, Leslie should be solid to very good.

Hawks: Conger looks good

NZ: You can't write them off

36ers: Hello depth, the sum of the parts may be greater than last year.

United: $$$ their bench may have experienced some growth from last year. They should be favourites.

Cairns: Nothing new, don't write them off, when the boxscore is a mess hard to get a read on their new import.

Brisbane: Firing on all cylinders, Trice will be better this year. Without watching it is a bit hard to get a read on them also. Holt should be better not playing for DD.

Be great to hear some discussion from people lucky enough to attend

Was definitely too soon to have it and the downside to not having the stream was pretty obvious... How many posts here were about it over the weekend? That's a pretty solid indicator of lack of interest within a pretty core basketball fan community...

From what little highlights they showed, Trice looked really comfy, and it was good to see some bench players stepping up in the absence of starters...

Any word on Matty Knight? When I saw the clip of Matty N talking about resting players and saying that they didn't know how long Knight was out for?

Werribee must have promoted it reasonably well with about 1,000 mostly local attending on Sunday for Tiaps v Buulets I think, but to be honest even as close as Geelong, the advertising of it was almost crickets...
