Sydney Kings the New York Knicks of the NBL

Just terrible.

The only difference is people in NY actually care about the Knicks, unlike Sydneysiders with the Kings.

Kings biggest problem is that when they get their biggest crowds of the season, the team lose, if they can win when the average fan is there then it will be easier to keep them coming back. It's much easier to support a winner.

Also this current squad lacks an identity, we all think we know what they want to be but they aren't being that

Am I the only one that feels like if you can't get a front-of-jersey sponsor in the largest city in the country, the NBL is not as resurgent (yet) as we think?

The first game crowd was alarmingly poor, given every season ticket holder was given 2 additional free seats each.

That's a reflection on the inept Kings organisation rather than the league itself.
