NBL makes history tomorrow

I believe tomorrow is the first televised triple header in league history. Only took ~40 seasons but we're there now.

You mean this never happened in the 90's with 12-14 teams and Channel 7 coverage?

Pretty sure there was one in 2015/16, but officially that season never happened.

Each market only got its own team's games, they didn't televise everything nationally.

I think a great tv deal would be similar to the old one. Show all live on fox nationally. Then show the local games on sbs. So for instance tonights game would only be shown in sydney and adelaide.

SBS doesn't have state versions of its channels, unlike the other four FTA atations.

Friday sounds right, I remember only watching the first one (would have been in NZ) as Perth had a home game in the third.

I'll miss this one as well, as I'm out tomorrow afternoon...

Only two and a half hours to go.

Time to prepare for six hours of goodness.

This is still history as that first televised triple header mentioned above included a game from Sky NZ. This is the first triple header televised exclusively from Australia. Great job LK.
