Carrera knee injury

Carrera looks to have suffered a season ending knee injury. Bad luck for him as I think he's an absolute stud as an import! I hope he gets better soon.

Who to next for Cairns!

They didn't show a good angle of it, I'm guessing hyper-extension based on his reaction.

Apparently it's an ankle, not a knee

Even before the game he appeared to clutch at his ankle but he was actually just dragging his knuckles on the ground.

That's a lot of crazy to lose from the lineup.

Got to be honest - they played better without him with McCarron at the 3. Hopefully he is only out 4 weeks with an ankle sprain n moves to the 2 lol

Last night I was told it looked like a fractured ankle. This morning, I was told (by someone I know is in the rooms before and after games, and on the bench during) that it swelled up like a football immediately after he went off, but has since come down a bit. The thoughts of my source are that it wasn't a fracture. Carrera went to have an X-ray after the game, so I'm sure we'll find out soon.

The silence from Taipans HO is more than curious.
Jerry E isn't on the plane. What's the game here?

Ch7 news reported that it's a sprained ankle and still awaiting scan results tomorrow (went to hospital for a broken ankle but X-rays were clear from last night). Not as bad as first thought and likely a sprain/bruising. Will miss Sunday obviously but actual outage isn’t as bad as first thought - swelling dropped dramatically overnight and this guys heals fast given his record with his knee operation(opposite leg)

Club has kept it to local tv only until confirmation from the specialist is given and what treatment options they have ie. hypobaric chamber or standard rehab.

He will be back spitting fire and craziness very soon.

It sounds like Carrera's injury is scared of him. No wonder he heals fast!
