Best point guards in the NBL

Matt McQuade has taken his shot at the best point guards in the league.

Brett Maher comes in at second behind Darnell Mee.

Good to see that Brett ranks highly, but IMO unlucky to be rated behind Mee. I would take Brett before Mee any day for a much better offensive capability. As a point, Brett gives structure to the whole team.

While Mee's defensive output is undisputed, he doesn't control the offense as effectively. Plus, half the time, he is not playing the point.

So who is the best point guard in the competition? How about all time?

Thing about brett is even if he isnt the best point in the competition, he could easily play the 2 position, whilst mee wouldnt be as good at SG. I do agree though that mee at the moment is the best point guard.

Mee by a hair...his overall game (rebounding/blocks/steals) just pips brett unfortunately
