NBA Impersonator Brandon Armstrong

We are pretty excited at Melbourne Uni basketball to have Brandon Armstrong heading to Australia soon:
https://melbourneunibasketball.org.au/news/2018/bdotadot5-on-his-way-to-melbourne

Literally within 30 minutes of posting this to his instagram account today, he already has 12.5k likes and 200 comments.

Out of curiosity, if the league approached Brandon to do some impersonations of NBL players, who do you think would be his best targets?

I'd love to see him do David Anderson
ie. post feed, kick out, re-establish feet, post feed again, kick out, re-establish feet again, post feed, pump fake, drop step, pump fake, pump fake, spin to right hand, hook shot, bamboozled defender -> all in slow motion

Shameless cash grab? You mean operating a business and trying to make money?

Why is it shameless?

Are they a business? Sorry I thought they were listed as a not for profit organisation.

Numerous issues on that stupid comment....

Do you really think they'll be making money from it?

They're getting an import for free by the looks of it? Are they meant to turn it down?

Good for the club, good for the league. Good for bball.

Cash grab? hahaha. Always hilarious to see these anonymous posts on hoops. We are lucky to have Brandon playing for us and as someone else mentioned, we are a not for profit organisation. Most of the other teams we play against in the Big V have at least one import player and this is the second time we have ever fielded one. Without a juniors program to lean on, we are certainly not a wealthy club, unlike many others. We rely on fees from our own members to try and pay the bills and don't even have any paid sponsorship as yet (feel free to get in touch if you'd like to come on board with that). Hopefully Brandon's social media reach does a bit to promote the Big V and local Australian basketball though.

Back to the question though and in all seriousness, any ideas for NBL impersonations?

Always thought he was fairly decent baller before he started with the impersonations. Interested in how he performs.

You got the Shannon Shorter flex (up high) & 'give-me-some-love' crowd gesture
You got the Mitch Creek flex (down low)
Sobey arms spread - the chosen one
Majok Deng's 'Wakanda'

Go 6ers!

The Aaron Fearne 'yank your import PG when he turns the ball over or misses an assignment on the 2nd possession of the game'.

The main reason Brandon is moving here is to be closer to main squeeze Gina Savage - instagram.com/ginasavagex - gets to be with her + play ball. Good for him.

Dude played D-League and in Spain, it's not like he’s just an impersonator. I’m sure he can handle state league
