Travis Trice gets Bucks training camp Invite

It doesn't look like we'll be seeing Travis Trice back in the NBL next season at least not at the start of the season as he's just been signed by the Milwaukee Bucks to not just their Summer League team but gotten a pre-season training camp invite from them too.

Fearney is that you?

Trice may or may not make the Bucks roster (probably not with Delly there) but there have been worse PG's than him that have played in the NBA.

I can see Trice making a two-way. He's had good G-League numbers in the past, can run a PnR and his midrange will be more effective because of the drop coverage a lot of NBA teams play. The problem is that he's not a shooter and the Bucks need shooters, and he won't be able to defend NBA players.

Trice is easily better than Deandre Liggins

Would be a shame to see Trice leave NBL, always thought he was a good player.
Would be a good fit for Melbourne imo.

A lot of our better imports get similar invitations

and wind up in Europe or back here.

Some make it, Trice won't.
Far better players than him have failed.

Got to remember that he won't be coached by Lemanis over there, so that's got to help his chances.

If Steve Blake could play in the NBA for 10-plus years, then Travis Trice is good enough.. Remember, Steve Blake came to the NBL straight from the NBA...
