36ers retaining DJ was a big free agency win as many clubs were trying to get him.
Sydney obviously getting Bogut and retaining Randle are big wins.
Perth getting Norton and Kay setting up the next generation is also a great signing.
And getting these top young guys back into the NBL like Froling, McVeigh, Naar, Wilson are also great gets for 36ers, Hawks, Kings.
Hawks have done well by sitting still not going early just signing up a bunch of average players (ie Brisbane) then bringing in a top College guy on Naar, and Blanchfield, whilst being likely to be able to keep the bulk of their team from last year if they wish.
Brisbane, im critical of, the only above average signing they have made is Gliddon and bringing Bairstow back, and if they are planning to start both Cadee and Hodgson I think that is a mistake. However Bairstow returning (if healthy) is really good, and if they get a really good import SF then they will be atleast competitive. I just hope Lemanis realises that the NBL is alot tougher than the FIBA Aisa cup.
