great news, long overdue.

Surely far too old to make an impact with the Boomers. At this stage its too little too late. Should have repped in his prime circa World War Two.

After missing out on making the 1998 world cup team for Sudan he finally realizes his international basketball dream.

Surely Mills and Ingles follow suit? What about Bogut?

Maker doesn't have much time left on his side so it's a good move.

It will be interesting to see how he plays with more opportunities as a first or second option on offence.

Ingles has had a big season in the NBA so he may want to rest up for hopefully an even bigger season to come.

I am over the age jokes about Maker. I wouldn't care if he was 50. Still on the way up and a guy that makes an impact in the NBA. The fact is he gives the Boomers a player with a different skillset than we have had before. You can't teach the length and athletism that Maker has.

This is sensational and exciting news for Oz basketball.

The age jokes are lame but it makes people happy posting them.
Maker, Motum and Dellavedova are a welcome boost to the squad.

It won't matter too much if Mills, Ingles etc don't play this team should win easily even with Hodgson and Cadee playing.

Apparently Cam Bairstow is keen to play in the next window too, which is great.

Fox Sports will be telecasting the next window live won't they?

What we be the time differences for us in Australia, for these games?

Stoked. It's great that we're finally going to see some of this new wave of players in a Boomers uni. Would be great to see some of the other NBA talent suite up.

The Maker jokes are wearing thin. If you actually look at him you can see he is around the age he claims, give or take a couple of years at most. Get over it.

Is he actually good enough though? For a bench spot maybe.. his terrible rebounding basically makes him unplayable
