Some teams aren't using all three import spots either, so these figures aren’t correct.

Who are the notable locals who played last season and are yet to be signed? Greg Hire and David Andersen come to mind for me. Is Andersen retiring?

Hire's play these days doesn't warrant him as notable.

Best local (for cheaper spots) available right now is Felix VonHofe. The kid can ball.
I saw him working out for Mike Kelly today, so I'd assume he’s potentially signing with the Taipans.

My mail is that Illawarra, Brisbane and Sydney are all looking at him.

Corey Webster will sign with New Zealand (read on Twitter from a NZ reporter) so that takes their last local spot.

The kid Chima Moneke was in Melb also working out with VonHofe for Mike Kelly and Dean Vickerman, so could he be Melbourne’s next guy? I think he’d be an import though, as he only has his Nigerian passport and not his Australian one.

Emmanuel Malou was at the workout today also, and he actually looked pretty good. Freakishly talented, so if he’s injury free, he’d be a steal for any team.

Keanu Pinder comes to mind for a DP spot, maybe an 11th man if someone gets desperate.

Sam McDaniel is another guy around the place, but my mail is that he’s a DP at best this year.

Will we see the return of Ben Madgen this season?

Brock Motum is another one, but I hear he wants too much coin.

Cody Ellis, well I’m not sure on this one, but neither is Bevo I guess, if he hasn’t signed him.

Greg........, ah fuck it, he’s not good enough anymore (IMO)

Shaun Bruce (maybe the biggest sleeper free agent of the bunch). I think he will end up somewhere, but not in the NBL. Most likely a D2 Euro deal til the following season when a new team emerges. I actually like his game and think he should be in the NBL, but no team has a spot for him right now as his position.

Daniel Dillon, my mail is Melb will retain him, but I feel he’s not going to be himself after so much time off combined with his age.

Please don’t say David Anderson. He should retire in top as another season would see him unravel.

I heard there is an local aboriginal kid in Sydney who should have got a spot way ahead of Adnam. Don't know his name yet. Anyone know this kids ability? Surely there have to be better players than Adnam.

Player is William Hickey and he plays for Comets.

He can play but I believe Adnam would be better than him.

He could be a DP Player.

Hard to know his ability if he is an anonymous kid with no name.

Hopefully Damon Heuir lands somewhere on a roster.
Unless Andersen goes to the Hawks I would say he is done, should retire with his championship.

The hawks owner on twitter has said the big V was coming? My guess is David Anderson? just because he is a big and has a V in his name?

Just a wild guess but could the big V mean Venky Joins?
