NBL v Europe leagues

Should the NBL consider sending their champion team into a world club format against Europe and Asian league champions.

Something along the lines of the McDonalds Open in the 1990s.
The NBA doesn't necessarily have to participate but wouldn't it be good to show how the NBL stacks up against other professional leagues.

The problem is timing and imports and needs big cash to attract anyone.

End of NBL it is every man for himself to get a short term high cash contract prior to getting ready for next NBL season.

For the guys who are fringe NBA or G League, they want back into the USA ASAP

Europe season finishes 2 months after ours, so you are not going to keep the NBL champion around for that long afterwards.

Image with Lemanis and his pouch Australian talent at Boomers camps throughout the season, how would that work for Andre?

Not all teams are going to have a full roster or take it seriously enough. Hence it needs cash. Reasonable cash flow for the Brunei Cup at $30,000 SGD for the winner in its hey day. Maybe one of the Oil states could have a world club cup and offer some incentive coin. Not only $45k up for grabs in the Brunei Cup days, but they covered hotel, food, transport everything for nothing.
