Ladi-Tash makes WNBL 'Famous'

From WNBL web site

The WNBL launched it's new uniform and new 'Attitude' yesterday, but what had everyone at the launch in Melbourne talking, was the performance of 18-year-old Ladi-Tash, the WNBL's official singer for the 2006/06 season.

Performing the WNBL's new theme song Famous Ladi-Tash wowed the audience with her powerful voice and the song's infectious beat.

Her voice is of international quality, and she is an amazing songwriter and a dynamic performer.

Her constant rise through the music ranks has seen community and major radio stations, DJ's, promoters and clubs embrace the teenage singing sensation. Ladi-Tash is one to look out for in the coming years.

Ladi-Tash is no stranger to support from organisations for her work, with her previous track, Waking Up To Angels chosen to be part of the Australian Labor Party's CD-ROM to promote the environment policy leading to the last Victorian state election.

She also featured at the Australian Marketing Youth Conference in Sydney along with a benefit performance at the Royal Children's Hospital whilst supporting artists such as Vanessa Amorosi. This year saw Ladi-Tash featured on Austereo's Australian First show as Artist Of The Week.

You'll see Ladi-Tash at plenty of WNBL matches throughout the season, performing Famous, as well as singing the national anthem.

Listen out for Famous on the radio, with the single set to hit the charts in the coming month.

The NBL has it's own song but it hasn't been placed on the NBL web site or talked about. If you do want it go to the Cairns web site and you can downloaded it.
