Brisbane Bullets New Ownership

According to Boti they may have a new owner/owners.

Let's hope they can build the brand.

Two poor seasons and average crowds. This seriously needs to be turned around.

It's Clive Palmer. He says he's good for the money, and is happy to pay in cash if LK prefers.

2 new teams on the way the following season. Let's hope there is no licence fee charged.

LK is not propping up the 36ers.

LK I am assuming wants to offload as much of the teams he is involved with so he can use that money to bring in new franchises next season?

The owners I thought were LK's mates.

Yes, LK has mates at Sixers and Hawks. Hopefully those two become sustainable soon.

It makes sense LK has sold Utd and Bullets to roll that money into the two new franchises or just one since Tas bid looks solid money wise.

Haha Cram yeah my bad and good pickup - probably gave away the teams for a token amount just to remove a headache in his life :P

More likely that someone thinking "oh yeah, those Brisbane Bullets look like a wise investment, here, have a few stacks"

Why does LK have to off load teams to bring in new teams? PLease explain.
I heard today that the building they(NBL) are in has been sold. LK owns that building too doesn't he?

Perhaps new coach should be top of the agenda

Rid of the conflict of interest. From an outsider, it appears a mockery as it stands

Exactly. Bullets right now seem to be a jobs for the boys destination for all the cast off players, coaches and executives of the league. It's like a holiday retreat.

Why does basketball, soccer and other no traditional Aussie sports ultimately fail in this market....conflict of interest!!! LK nees to extract himself if NBL is to survive and thrive. Otherwise it will go the way of so many others...a shooting star that promised so much but ultimately ran out of energy. Crash and burn. Let's hope not.
