Thursday;

NZ Breakers @ 1.70

Already look like they mean business and Webster looks ready to stamp a claim on MVP too. Not sure I liked what I witnessed sitting behind Bullets bench at the Blitz, so I hold no great faith that the day's of an over regimented team coughing up winning leads are gone. Hopefully five days rest from a not too very long flight serves well enough to find Breakers extra tough at home again.

Friday;

Illawarra Hawks 2.40 & +3.5 @ 1.90

Just three players returning but seem a well motivated & prepared unit. Maybe Rd1 sees the traveled United spring to life all of a sudden but I suspect prem hangover might be a reality right now. Hawks at home in this is an outstanding deal IMO.

Re: Sportsbet -- I'm not sure if they are an official sponsor as they aren't listed as such? They are sponsoring the fantasy game and when the teams were playing NBAxNBL games but that seems to be it? Unless they are waiting intil tomorrow to announce more.

NZ Breakers 3.35 & +6.5 @ 1.90

They should prove to be a lot better team than the nonsense trotted out on Thursday. United could find themselves tested physically and mentally off the 4OT, where they also used up plenty of hot hand for one weekend. Price has trimmed since taking this bet earlier today but still great value IMO currently at around 3.00 & +5.5.
