NBL Clubs In FIBA Intercontinental Cup?

I was watching a game on FIBA's TV pass (a Latin American game), and after the game they were talking with some FIBA executive and they were talking about the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.

They said they had delayed the 2018 FIBA Intercontinental Cup to 2019 a because they were opening it back to multiple leagues.

In recent years it was played between the champions of FIBA Anericas League (best league in Latin America), and the champions of FIBA Basketball Champions League (one of the two secondary level European leagues along with EuroCup, that are the level below EuroLeague). It's like FIFA Europa League, but the second level in Europe is divided into 2 leagues (EuroCup and Champions League).

Anyway, they said they delayed it until February 2019 (from September 2018), so they could add champions from other continents. They said they had already added the China CBA champions and were talking with the NBL, about adding it's champions also, and maybe a G League all star selection.

So, champions of,

NBL
CBA
FIBA Anericas League
FIBA Champions League (one of 2 secondary European leagues)

And maybe a G League all star team. It would take place in February 2019, and then each year after that. Teams from EuroLeague would be added if EuroLeague and FIBA end their dispute.

None of the leagues would be finished by then. They are talking about doing it during the season.
