36ers have requested a review of Vukona/Sobey incident

LMAO are we going to get requests for review every week?

Well, the 36ers should. They're reviewed every time they cough and fart, and their coach is fined for basically doing what he's paid to do - speak his mind. It's about time the 36ers turned the table for once.

Nothing in it. Vukona, a true hard man, just kind of put his hand up to Sobey like "stay out of this you bish"

Drmic's elbow to Goulding looked un-natural and one could be forgiven for thinking the worst.

And telling the press 'Ask Melbourne about Melbourne'...you don't think this is inflammatory and worthy of league review?

This is very Adelaide 36ers type of behaviour.

'Ask Melbourne about Melbourne'...you don't think the origin of this comment doesn't look bad to everyone outside of Melbourne? Even the NBA commentators couldn't believe what they were hearing.

Seems bizarre to get a tech for apparently swearing, but grabbing someone by the throat is somehow okay.

Did nobody notice that he got a USF? Why is everyone saying he got away with it?

Lovebroker says Drmic looked unnatural? Hmmmm, in play, yet Mika grabbed a player "naturally" by the throat off the ball? Smh

Ok he got a USF. Grabbing a man's throat is as aggressive as it gets without punches thrown. Do punches really need to be thrown before a player gets ejected?

Once again, it's never Adelaide's fault...

How do you figure it's Adelaide's fault?

So now we can tell all our kids you will only get an unsportsmanlike foul if you choke someone, as long as you only use 1 hand with no repercussions after the fact.

This is telling all our kids the wrong message if it's not dealt with by FIBA!

Hardly a choke. Sobey didn't even react. He head butted Prather for minimal contact. If Mika applied any form of pressure Sobey wouldn’t have just taken it. USF in game is correct penalty.

Brisbane have asked the NBL to look at Drimic contact with Vukona .

Choking Sobey is a large stretch, he pushed him away.
Drmic is as emotional as Boogie Cousins lol

Get your facts straight Drmic and Vukona both got fouls and Sobey got the USF for being 1st man in

Anon, get your facts right. Drmic and Vukona received USF. Sobey received a technical foul.

Thanks for clearing that up my point was Vukona did not get the USF for what he did to Sobey which is why 36ers want it reviewed

Yes that is exactly why Vukona got the USF! Smh

I'd imagine this could have been dealt with better:

Drmic and Vukona get fouls for their interaction, then Sobey gets a tech for first man in and Vukona gets a tech for the throat grab.

NBL gives Vukona a warning for the throat thing, and then the whole situation is dealt with.

Drmic is a trouble maker like Draymond Green, without the kicking people in the balls thing.

By the way, that tech on Froling was an absolute joke, NBL need to tell the ref to grow up/harden up.

Drmic involves in another's incident. Starting to see a pattern here

Ket your first issue is a technical foul is for behaviour, Vukona made contact therefore it cannot by rule be a technical foul. Drmic USF for elbow to the head, Vukona USF for pushing Sobey away by the throat. Sobey technical for his verbal being 3rd man in. The only addition is you could give Drmic and Vukona a technical each for their verbal spat and ejection the both for receiving a technical and a USF.

I don't think anyone should have got anything over that whole incident. Just tell them to cool it and that is their warning and move on. The bit that is stupid to me was that Sobey got a T for just being there. Just seems like a lot of over umpiring these days when you consider the complete lack of feel the unsportsman like end of game fouls, which are professional fouls get.

Third man in is an automatic technical. Not playing the ball is an automatic USF.

Does anyone have clarity of third man in. Is it third man in trying to escalate the situation? Surely you got get a technical foul for trying to defuse a situation?
