NBL partners with FloSports for North American broadcast

FloSports, an innovator in live digital sports and original content, has announced a multiyear partnership with the National Basketball League to provide live and on-demand coverage of the NBL exclusively in the U.S. and Canada -- and non-exclusively in the U.K. and Asia -- on FloHoops.com.

NBL Chief Executive Jeremy Loeliger said. "We are excited about FloSports expanding the global coverage of the NBL this season.

“Now broadcasting into over 30 countries, the NBL is reaching more parts of the globe than ever before. It's been a fantastic start to the season and already we’ve seen an increase in our attendances and broadcast audiences.

This is a great opportunity for the league to showcase some of it's talent.

I just hope it doesn't mean scouts steal some of our best players like Bryce Cotton and Client Stiendl!

You don't think scouts already who who is here and who is performing, both locals and imports? You don't think these players all have agents who are in constant dialogue with other teams in other countries, making a case for their clients?

I would like to know whether the NBL gets any revenue for this?

I see this happening:

Australians travelling US who enjoy NBL want to watch on NBL TV but no longer can through geoblocking, they don't bother to pay for FloSports so they just don't watch.

Americans who don't care about Australian basketball, continue to not bother to pay to watch Australian basketball

It's about false numbers to government and sponsors. Like when the AFL play a game in China and its broadcast live into 500,000,000 homes but not a single person is actually watching!

#716807 you are spot.
LK is stacking all his NBL chips and every external basketball links to
the league in one basketball basket to present to BA so that he can
control them and force their hands to buy basketball that he's created
since owning the nbl with the ultimate goal of recouping the money he's
put in personally, plus a hefty profit.

He is smarter in one hand the anyone in BA and they are very aware of it
and desperately need his help with getting the basketball participation
numbers up and in asking the federal government for funding. Particularly
leading up to the World Cup and 2020 olympics, because both events are
going to occur a huge cost for BA to fund, especially with the potential
of having nba aussies on the team who will have high demands.

This is one of many reasons why Anthony Moore stepped down as ceo.

^That's an excellent example of how to string together lots of words without actually saying anything.
