2021 Boomers players

Here is a squad I thought would be very competitive for the Aussies in a few years:

Ben Simmons - G
Jonah Bolden - F
Patrick Mills - G
Thon Maker - F
Josh Green - G
Dante Exum - G
Deng Adel - F
Matur Maker - F
Maker Maker - F
Mangkok Mathiang - C
Tamuri Wigness - G
Duop Reath -C

2021 we will still see most of the current squad. No major tournaments until...

2023 WC/2024 Olympics
Possibly

Simmons / Exum / McDowell-White
Green / Grida
Adel / White / Cooks
Maker / Bolden
Landale / Humphries

Grida and Froling are both big possibilities. Jack White?

2023/24 Boomers are possibly still in high school.

Seriously, consider how much and how fast Aussie basketballers have improved since our last Olympics and take that forward by 5 or 6 years. Last lot of World's and Olympics we had a couple of NBA players, several playing at the next highest level in Europe, and several NBL'ers. This time round we have 10 (?) in the NBA, no idea how many doing really well in Europe.

Anyone like to predict how many, truely world-class players we may have to choose from by 2023?

By the way, "truely world-class players": emphasies meant on how many, not that the current ones are not.

Still alot of water to go under the bridge between now and then.

Exum might not play due to contract/injuries as his fitness/health is becoming a worry.

Other guys might also pop up as well between now and then the "White Dude" at Dallas is starting to play well too!

Most of the people commenting actually know nothing about those players other than the names. Smh

Exactly most people only read half the BS from the media, McDowell W is still playing div 2 in Germany and hasn't played in weeks, ? Injured while Xavier Cook is doing very well for his div 1 team in Germany, though his team is in the bottom half. Some of the other guys mentioned haven’t even played against men yet.

We can call them the ALL BLACKS.

Ba Boom Tish!

The team probably would be pretty decent but not sure about what we have inside and not a great deal of shooters there.

Not listing the guys in the NBA as they are all known.

Guys in Europe worth a look:

Motum
Landale
Cooks
Lual-Acuil (been injured)
Reath
Pinder (still only 19!)
Makur Maker

and don't forget the guys in NBA G League:

Isaac Humphries
Deng Adel
Mitch Creek
