Trist is the perfect type of signing for Cairns next season, underwhelming local who can't get a gig elsewhere, fits nicely into their budget.

He did sign a 2 year deal and he hasn't been waived just currently removed from the playing roster he's still with United.

Considering the the coach in an interview said he'd followed Trist career since his college days and was glad to have him on hist team, I’d say Reality is talking crap. Trist is short in this league for the five spot and didn’t adapt to the four which is where Melbourne probably wanted him to play.

Melbourne certainly going all out for back to back.
