Wildcats consider application for 3rd import exemption

Wildcats considering applying to the NBL for a special exemption to bring in a third import to replace Norton who is out with a season ending injury.

Might ruffle some feathers of others who love to say I told you so

They won't do it because they won't be able to get their hands on a quality import, and it's only for four games. Their chemistry has turned around so no need to rock the boat. Maybe the paper needed to fill column inches

Did you read the article?
If granted the exemption the import would be available to play in the playoffs..

Didn't see mention of this option when Adelaide replaced Moore with Bruce.

Isaac...no surprise there, Perth along with Melb, Brisbane and Sydney are the favoured sons - Adelaide, not so much!

Probably because Adelaide won't make playoffs at this rate lol

Adelaide could have replaced Moore with another import if they wanted.

I doubt it. That article was published yesterday morning, that evening Gleeson did the rounds on TV and radio and said they'd just use Dech.

Martin 25min, Cotton 10 Dech 5
Cotton 25, Steindl/White 15.
White 25, Steindl 10, Hire 5

No more injuries and Perth should be OK.

Ah yeah. But I don't think they will want to screw with what they have at the moment

Adelaide wouldn't have the money/willingness to spend the money

Considering they'll miss the finals, not much point
