Phillip Island Basketball

It seems like the Phillip Island basketball association is on the up with some kids making state squads. They seem to be growing and putting together some decent VJBL teams. Good on them!

New multi-court stadium at nearby Wonthaggi will help too.

I think this is great news!

My concern is VJBL? How much further can we make people travel on a friday night.

At what point for single parent households does VJBL stop being an affordable option or even an option for kids to participate in. A subject for another thread but surely there is a better way.

That's awesome to hear!

Great the game is expanding at that level.

Perhaps Big V should have put them in instead of RMIT?

Well done to Phillip Island basketball. Not easy to produce players that make those squads. Hopefully see them in Big V in the future.
