Will the Nets announce a 2nd 10 day for Creek?

Hope so although he didn't get a look in for the last few games.

I think it will be as much about gaps in the roster as anything. Been solid in the G-League and did fine in the NBA itself.

At least he got that 10-day and stepped onto the court in a few games. An amazing achievement.

Hopefully his second game in particular was enough to warrant a second contract.

Olgun:

Mitch Creek's 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets, which was due to end tomorrow, has been renewed for another 10 days, per a source.

NBL:

The Brooklyn Nets have signed the former NBL star to a second 10-day contract, league sources told NBL Media.

Despite appearing in only three games during his initial stint with the team - playing significant minutes only once – Creek has done enough to earn a second short-term deal.

The Nets are said to be impressed with Creek's work ethic and attitude and their confidence in his ability to have an impact has grown after his play against Boston last week.

Creek signed his first 10-day contract with the Nets on January 25, making his debut against the New York Knicks later that night and scoring his first NBA point.

Three days later the hardworking Aussie forward made a substantial impact against the Celtics, putting up 6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in 19 minutes on the floor.

A nice little $46k more.

Going to have made $130k odd AUD in 20 days by the end of it.

Great to see a player take a gamble, work his but off and get the rewards.

I was under the impression that a player can only play 3 games on a ten day contract hence why he hasn't been seen for a few games. Does anyone have any more information?

3 games or 10 days, whatever's longer. So if a team has three games scheduled in 12 days, the contract is actually for 12 days.

Creek vs the Bucks:

15 minutes for 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. +2 in a solid loss. Very decent!
