NBL Defensive Player candidates

NBL has outlined the shortlist:

Bogut
Ware
Marti
Jett
Lisch
McCarron
Long

Has to be Bogut, surely? When he wasn't blocking people, he was scaring them out of the paint.

How many times has Bogut "worried them out of it"?

Lisch's defence isn't as good as it used to be imo

Clearly Bogut.

Even if Martin played the whole year I'd still think Bogut. But not by much.

Hmm, considering how often he gets left flat-footed by more agile opponents, I'm not convinced of Bogut's dominance.
Especially considering he is one of the worst foulers in the league.

If he hadn't missed so may games through injury, it would be once again Martin followed by daylight.

I would say its a tossup between Martin and Jett.

Gotta be kidding. The NBL has never seen a defensive game changer like Andrew. Watching him up close and in person is far more impressive than on TV, and I feel that he does get ripped a bit on blocked shots too. This coming from a non-Sydney supporter.

What is D2.0 smoking!
Bogut by a mile.
Did you see Teys of all people run by him this year.
