Melbourne's State Basketball Centre upgrades?

I think I read somewhere that the Labor Government has committed $126 Million to upgrading the State Basketball Centre in Melbourne.

I think the Centre of Excellence will be based there too.

Also upgrades to Melbourne Arena.

Does anyone know when these upgrades/redevelopment will begin?

Great to hear.

What are people's thoughts of moving the COE to Melbourne after being in Canberra for several decades?

What upgrades are being done to Melbourne Arena?

Maybe decent change rooms for starters? The SEABL G/F was a disgrace with 2 change rooms being shared amongst the 4 teams.

When it was first mooted, the formal details were expected to be announced when the Boomers vs USA series hits town this year.
