Article in today's advertiser by Boti. He now refers to them as the Fellas. Also the bodysuits won't be worn but more importantly their colours have changed.

Home/Away uniforms will be light blue/dark blue. How will the Sabres "partners" in controlling basketball in this state (Forestville) feel that no gold was included. Could this be the rift to split these two clubs??

The "evil empire" are apparently secretly planning a hostile take over of the Fella's Gifts chain to provide a retail outlet front so that they can go about their "wicked ways". Next stop Pura Milk and Distinctive Homes and their plan of corporate basketball domination will be complete. Final stop will be a rate payer's assault on Unley and Mitcham Councils, after which they will take over council and immediately cancel the debt on Wayville and expand Wayville and Pasadena to 10 court megaplex's.

Actually about the WNBL and the Fellas...the signing of Deanne Ranford would have had to be one of the quietest signings I've ever seen.

Was speaking someone senior at WNBL HQ tonight, and even they were surprised at how quietly it was handled.

She would be a much better asset than Marsh. After all the hype I have heard about her I expected a lot more. Perhaps finally being in a strong team has given her a big shock
