Adnam to Phoenix

Phoenix roster starting to take shape.

I'm hoping Wild Kyle continues developing after a stellar season in Sydney.

Where's he playing right now, btw?

Good backup guard signing. Solid enough to rest a starter or play in the rotation, but doesn't seem to clamour for an ever-growing role. Risk of a Cadee-level player.

Although it's been rumoured for awhile now, still feels like a bit of a weird fit with Gibson also on board, unless Gibson is expected to start?

So how much did Gibbo get paid? How many minutes is he going to play if both Adnam and Gibbo are on the bench?

Don't get me wrong, solid signing for SEM but some questions.

How many players does that make it now?

IMHO it hinges on Wesley. If they can somehow get him naturalised, then add 3 imports, it will give them a very good 6 man rotation.

They've gone (so far) for a mostly safe, experienced bench, with Moneke being the wild-card.
for a new team, with a rookie coach, that's probably a good option.

Even with Wesley as an import, if they sign a Shawn Long type centre, and a Trimble type PG, along with Wesley, Creek, and Madgen, that will be a formidible starting 5.

Just gotta hope that Creek isn't a big gamble.

Creek is a gamble, no doubt. But they can hold fire with an import slot to see if they lose him mid-season/ he doesn't line up to start the season. He would be difficult to replace with an Aussie (maybe a younger version of Newley, but the younger Newly was making good coin in Europe).

Is Madgen still up for starter/ big minutes? Given his age and current role, he could be more of am impact off the bench type player.
