Jnr NBA World Championship

Can anyone update on this - saw an advertisement on ESPN that it is on TV in August and Asia Pacific finals are June 15/16 in Indonesia. Are there Australian teams in this ? Last year it was the U14 Club Champs that represented - is it the same this year ?

It will be a multinational selection of players from the Asia Pacific camp. Aus, NZ, Japan, Korea, Philippines and some other SE Asian countries are sending players.

Great idea / opportunity , competition for spots would be huge. Managing the languages probably the biggest issue. A combined team of 12 may need at least 6 translators per team. I believe the Europe team was selected along these lines last tournament - they may well have had language translators as well.
