Magic was great. Deserves his own thread. I loved the guy's game. He blazed a trail for big point guards. Etc.
BUT he doesn’t enter the conversation for "next stars" or next season’s imports.
Could we please put all the Magic love here.

Definately got my vote here. For me, he's the GOAT! There are and have been better, but not greater!

I was lucky enough to discover the NBA in 1980 when Channel 7 used to show games late at night. I chose the Lakers as my team and I've followed them ever since and to this day Magic is still my favourite player
Duke Fan - The Sedale Threatt/Vlade years were particularly memorable.
Loved those Sedale Threatt teams! Nick Van Exel. Cedric Ceballos. Doug Christie. Old James Worthy. Magic Johnson retiring, un-retiring, re-retiring 30 times over. They weren't good teams but they were interesting.
