Marshall Nelson

Not yet signed by an NBL club- lighting up the SBL leading the league in scoring at 27 a game. He was recruited over with Sunday Dech also from the SBL. Bevo signed up family friend Glover to a 2 year deal meaning he had no place on the roster.

What does everyone think his chances of securing another contract is? I heard from a good source he is flying out for trials with Cairns, Brisbane and Melbourne in the coming weeks. What would be his best fit?

Mitch Young was putting those numbers up last season in the QBL.
It doesn't cross over I'm afraid.

Young was injured all year. Not really comparing apples with apples.

Nelson could be really handy if given the opportunity. The kid plays hard but still needs to mature in the professional space. Whether or not he is undersized is up for debate, but his speed, athleticism and natural flair for the game could get him another go round.
