Kawhi Leonard to meet with LA Lakers

Gee, it would be big if he joined them.

That would give them 3 of the top 5/6 guys in the league.

Still a long shot but if he joins LA, they're the biggest superteam of all time.

Could be a interesting bench though with no money left for solid role players. Guys like Melo, JR Smith, Vince Carter, Korver could all sign for Vet Minimums.

Also after the wolves were out for Pelinka, big difference a few weeks makes. He will be GM of the year if he pulls this off

If Pelinka gets Kawhi, then all the haters of the Lakers management will have to eat their words, as they are pretty much guaranteed to win the championship assuming the Big 3 are healthy.

I am hoping Kawhi goes to the Clippers with Durant.

Kahwi has specifically asked for Jeanie and Magic only to their meeting. Pelinka excludrf. So if they get him. It isnt because of Pelinka.

Kawhi Leonard to meet with LA Lakers... and multiple other teams.

Imagine if he did go to the lakers, would give them arguably 3 of the best 2way players in the league. They would be one of the best 'big 3s' ever assembled.

As a laker fan i hope he comes, but wouldn't count on it. A meeting is a solid start at least.

They might also need to get Smush Parker out of retirement to run the point, because They'd still have a stack of spots to fill with zero cap space to fill them, unless a bunch of vets go ring hunting for minsal.

That Big 3 would be so good that you could convince me that they could still win a ring with Smush Parker.

The other thing is that with the Warriors decimated, there would be no clear challenger from a talent perspective.

An interesting question is - what motivates Kawhi? OK, so there's the lure of being closer to home - but that could be addressed by going to the Clippers too. Maybe he sees the Clippers as not having a strong enough roster around him to contend?
