Cue someone saying Luc Longley then being corrected by stating he actually played 2 games for Perth.

But yeah, can't really go past Jordan, LeBron, Kareem, Wilt. There's not a day that goes by when I don't wonder what Wilt's stats would've been like if he'd chosen to play the 1969 season for the Nunawading Spectres instead of the Lakers where he wasted the end of his career.

I think the OP was alluding to those who never got past SEABL, Premier League etc.

There are plenty of "never weres", especially after a few drinks in the man cave

^ and I'm justified in saying that since the OP didn't include "male" in the title. *snicker*

Paddy thomas from west is one. Still in the mid 20s and while not a 20ppg volume scorer, currently averages 12 8 and 6 from the point and is an elite defender. Suprised he was never given the chance

Good topic. Showing my age but going back to late 70's/early 80's SEABL. Parramatta had 2 amazing imports - Eddie Joe Chavez and Tim Shaw. Eddie was drafted by Houston 1978 after playing for Santa Clara. Not sure of Tim's credentials but a 6'6" shooting guard who am sure led the league in rebounding and close to top scored. Both were in the Sydney All-star teams that used to take on touring sides including national teams like China. This was in the days when SEABL was THE second league in Australia and some very good NBL players, including imports, played. 2 of the most dominant players I have seen - albeit in SEABL
