Presumably United wants to play plenty of small ball with Prather at the 4.

No, you were right the first time.
Only way this makes sense is if Long (or JLA) plays the 4.
Assuming Tremble can adapt his game, this looks like an exceptionally strong line-up
I wouldn't get to excited, he signed in div one Israel didn’t make the cut, got traded to Hungary div one didn’t play a game and ended in div three Israel. He’s a budget signing. Seven foot tall can be useful though.

He scored a team-high 20 points in United's second pre-season game against Zhejiang and also scored 17 points in their first game against California Baptist Uni.
He has some ability, it might be his attitude. Really good at Baylor.... might feel much more comfortable being home.
I think he'll do real well.
We need more of those Aussie euro guys filling roster spots. Reath, mathiang etc etc.
Let's see how many points he scores on Bogut, Jawai, my grandma could score on those teams.

Long isn't really a 4.
Still only one stretch 4 on this roster. Tohi I consider more of a stretch 5. Then 3 more traditional 5s.
It remains to be seen whether the balance is right.
I can see Prather and even maybe McCarron at time in the four, if Barlow gets injured or in foul trouble which has happened and a lot of the fours are more mobile this year Melbourne are vulnerable, they waned an import four but could not walk past Prather. Smith-Milner is four height but is really a five man, slow feet and foul prone. Long could play there as well maybe.
