NBA legend Paul Pierce is coming to Melbourne & Sydney in early October.

Get excited Aussie fans, NBA legend Paul Pierce is hitting our shores in October for a whirlwind tour.

The "You're a Legend Tour" will feature six days of activities across Melbourne and Sydney from October 1st - 6th, coinciding with the biggest week on the Australian sporting calendar, with UFC243, the NRL Grand Final, the NBL 2019-20 season tip-off as well as the AFL Pro Combine.

This is a little odd. Who's paying him? Sort of seems like Tourism Australia? Idk.

Regardless, Pierce is a strange choice. Solid NBA resume but wouldn't hold cross-appeal to anyone outside of our game. Even within the game I guess you could say he was a little polarising.

Get your $$ bro!! Paul Pierce is a future HOF so that should mean some paid appearances. To be one of the best to have ever done anything is a great accomplishment. Not sure how much fan fair he will receive since his personality wasn't as elite as his game. lol
