Future Voices of Australian Basketball

Australian basketball is growing, both the Boomers and the NBL.

Who do we want as commentators, presenters and analysts in future?

Do we want the same voices for Boomers as NBL, or horses for courses?

My thoughts are:
Boomers, Gaze & Heal

NBL, a core of commentators who know about basketball and the NBL (not footy heads, no names mentioned) plus a local for each city's home games MU &SEM could share the local for now, but try to develop a second voice).

Your thoughts.

Can we just clone Liam Santamaria enough times for him to do everything?

Please keep Heal away from the Boomers commentary
Too parochial and jingoistic
Phil Lynch is and will always be the voice of Australian basketball

Would personally like to see less Shane "don't you worry about that!" Heal commentating "Usstrayan" basketball.

He's more podcast than broadcast.

Referring to every three-pointer as a "trifecta" is reason enough alone to keep Heal away from the microphone.

Yet Heal is employed doing every game imaginable. Must come cheap.
