OP is a toss bag.

Gleeson makes an off-cuff comment that we have a Wildcat, maybe 2 wildcats hoping to be Boomers.

Cotton in Boomers - we have a good chance of winning a medal. Imagine Cotton & mills as the starting guards. The 3 point threat is enormous.

Mr Cotton, on a scale of "absolutely" to "definitely" how much would you like to play for the Boomers?

So does he live in Oz all the time?

I would think that Aussie Bryce Cotton would be good for the NBL Boomers in the qualifying rounds.
Making the A team would be difficult, almost impossible if all the NBA guys are available. But if we got back to a similar situation of needing to add guys like Sobey and Gliddon to the bench, then ABC would be a no brainer.

Cotton would be a good addition to the A team, adding a reliable scoring punch in the Mills style.

Mills - scoring guard
Simmons - facilitating point forward
Delly - steady distributor
Cotton - scoring guard mk 2
Exum - likely deployed as a defensive specialist

It's a good mix.

I wouldn't replace Goulding with Cotton.

Putting Cotton on the Boomers team would be like you never have Patty Mills off the court. Patty sits, Cotton comes on and basically does what Patty does, and they just rotate. No matter what NBA players we might have I don't think you can look past a pure shot creator and maker like Cotton.

I'd play Goulding ahead of Deladova on present and recent form.

A decent point about Goulding's form, but does Broekhoff make him redundant?

Putting aside that the new coach may have completely different ideas, and ignoring eventual injuries, who comes into the WC team (and who goes) for Tokyo?

Barlow, Sobey, and Gliddon obviously out. Simmons, Exum, and Broekhoff in.

Maybe Brown prefers Bolden over Kay, wait and see I guess.

Does Cooks come back into contention?

Who would make way for Cotton?
