Melbourne v Brisbane Nov 24

Brisbane squeezed past Adelaide on Friday night, but the Bullet train hits a wall today. United are on the rise. Third on the ladder and with 5 straight wins they look set to make it 6/6 today. It must be all those soy lattes.

To average 20 ppg is pretty good, but United have got three guys doing it and a couple more capable of doing it. United have scored over 100 points 3/5 times at home and 2/3 away. Let's face it, if you're brave enough to wear a man bun like a boss, you can achieve anything.

Casey Prather is out injured, but he's not essential to a win today. The Pledgehammer is still to come back too.

Brisbane will need to play out of their skins defensively if they wish to have any chance today. So far this season they have only had 2 road wins, both against poor old Illawarra. Their game on Friday was the first time they lifted their bat with a century. They will need to make every possession a scoring possession, but like a night out at the club, sadly most attempts result in an air ball, a fumble, or a reject.

I think it's pretty safe to say that the Bundy Boys from Brissy will be at the mercy of the Soy Boys from South Yarra. The only thing at play will be the margin...I think the score will be something like 104 to 88.

Stith playing again. Does this mean Prather is on long term injury list again or are Melbourne allowed four imports?

Moving screens only called on Brisbane, call them all or call none.

Melbourne have three imports only Stith OR Prather can play.

That's not the same as actually only having three imports.

Can anyone tell me what that woo woo siren sounding noise is whenever there is a foul at this Melb game? I haven't heard it at any other home court. It's pretty annoying on the telecast. Must be awful at the venue.

Magnay looks like a midget next Joe Acul. Melbourne very good, Brisbane playing well but can't win.

Melbourne then daylight.

A few bad plays down the stretch from Brisbane, but I think they were a bit unlucky that Smith-Milner had a career night against them also.

Paterson could not throw it in the ocean either.

United's bench standing up again. Acuil and Smith Milner with huge games, following Ili and McDaniel last week. This Pledger injury could be the door into Acuil's Moller moment.

What was the reason that vickerman kept putting Long on the bench??

Maybe it was because Long wasn't performing and Acuil was playing like a man possessed?

Long was getting hacked every time he attacked the basket and he was not getting rewarded. Vickermann sat him because frustration was creeping into both his game and his demeanor.
