Does anyone have any info or ideas on who the NBL is looking at with next years next stars ?, so who's the next lamelo and RJ ?. They need to keep this going as long as they can
There's no one really, only a couple unsigned for college.
I see them taking drafted stick where nba teams stash them over here.
Anyone who could have an impact on games like RJ or ball ?. Surely some kids have hype like ball coming through highschool who wanna make some money.
Does anyone think if ball and Hampton go in top 5 that will help attract the talented kids

Didn't terry Armstrong bail on his collage contract to play in the nbl ?.
Armstrong was ranked in the 20s before coming, not much media draw for him.
Typical low IQ here just because prospects have signed doesn't mean they will attend those universities. As usual people come to this site and are quick to say the most stupid stuff like kids don’t change up or parents don’t change up. Money talks and if a kid can make some good coin here there will be more prospect.

There's still only been two straight forward "High school to NBL" players as part of Next Stars (Hampton and Armstrong).
Still, by far the most likely source of getting someone into the "program" is someone who falls outside of that - ie someone who is ineligble for college (including those that have to sit out a year) or Draft and stash.
Its not so much an alternate pathway for blue chip prospects as a back up option for guys who haven't been able to make their first option work.
We could see Julian Newman next season, he get why more viewers and followers on social media than Lamelo does.
