Richard Clarke out as Brisbane GM, who is next?

Clarke took a job in NZ outside of basketball a few weeks ago and is done with the Bullets as previously reported. First major change new ownership led by Kevin Martin has made. Any word on who is replacing him? Big off-season coming up in Brisbane now that Lemanis is finally able to focus full-time on the Bullets as opposed to splitting his energy and time on the national team. Will Lemanis get to make this hire or will the new ownership look to make their imprint? Will a Next Star be something they look at next season after not engaging last year?

Hopefully Lemanis is the next one to go tbh.

Lemanis should probably be moved on from. Was a great coach when he had stacked rosters to work with in NZ, hasn't done much in brissy though.

499, Australia is more socialist than NZ. That shit would not go down well for the Bullets.

Yeah I'm hoping the change in ownership means there may be an avenue Lemanis can be punted without a considerable payout.

Also can't state enough how underwhelming Clarke was as a GM. Boggles me how poor he was considering the 'success' he came from. Here's hoping Brisbane gets a GM that is extremely keen and motivated, Richard was the exact opposite.

Santa, Lol. No thank you.

Priorities for new GM, someone capable of

1. Recruiting competitive/exciting playing roster
2. Organising entertaining game days
3. Establishing positive community relationships, particularly with local associations

Now that Lemanis isn't national coach he can't use that carrot in recruiting. Sobey a good pickup in off season as well as retaining Patterson but what else really. Rest of roster is a mash up, other imports underwhelming. Assuming budget is bigger than a few others and having such a "great" coach, you'd think they would have shit together.
Fresh start, get rid of Lemanis and cronies, keep Patterson, get stud import point, slide Sobey to the 2 and build from there.

This quote from a recent ESPN article may answer one question:

"The Bullets will hire an executive to head up the organization's business operations, but [Kevin] Martin expects to lead the front office and oversee decision-making on the basketball side.
