Each teams needs for the offseason?

This is just from my perspective on what I think each team needs to do in the offseason and in prep for the next season.

Adelaide:

- Drop Moore, upgrade the SG (3 and D import that can play SG/SF)

- re-sign Drmic, let Froling walk.

- Griffin replaced by rebounding/defending athletic big that can play PF/CTR.

- Joeys' time is up. Give KB the reign for a year!

- Utilize Next Star!

Brisbane:

- scoring/playmaking import point guard, Sobey moved to SG

- athletic/scoring PF next to Magnay/Hodgeson combo.

- import SF to come off the bench. Gliddon moved to SF.

Cairns:

- Keep ALL players (not probable)

- upgrade bench.

Illawarra Hawks:

- keep youth, move on aged players.

- focus on 3 gun imports at the PG, SF and PF/CTR.

- bring in another Next star!

Melbourne United:

- steal Cairns imports.

New Zealand Breakers:

- keep Hopson

- sign an import Centre and Point guard.

Perth:

- find a scoring import PG to replace Damo with Norton off the bench.

- chase an Aussie bigman (eg. Reath, Mathiang).

- keep White/Steindl combo

SEM:

- upgrade bench

- find a 3rd Import (PF/CTR) that can produce nightly alongside Roberson and Creek.

- keep Pineau

- find next star and actually play them.

Sydney:

- inject team with youthful imports at PF and SG.

Definitely chase an Aussie big man for Perth. Freeing up an import spot for guard.

Adelaide agree keep Drmic
Brisbane new imports 1 and a 4/5.
Cairns just need one more impact player to strengthen the bench.
Illawarra get 2 good imports not 3 mediocre ones.

Perth have 3 importsplus cotton likely next year.
I don't theylll keep hunt or white.
A new import PG, SF and C.

Import / Norton / Britt(DP)
Cotton / Buluk / Travers
Import / Steindl
Kay / Vague / Wagstaff retired?
Import / Majok

Move on
Pozoglou, will want contract.

Why wouldn't Perth keep Terrico White? I realise he has some down games but for the most part he is exactly what Perth need does a great job being the secondary offensive option behind Cotton seems to have a good head on his shoulders with minimal ego slots right in perfectly and don't forget he's a big time player and has proven he can step up a notch at the pointy end of the season.

Unless he asks for some huge pay rise I reckon Perth would be mad to try and risk upgrading on White it's got a lot of potential to backfire spectacularly.

MD .... "Give KB the reign for a year! "

HA HA HA HA HA .... what was in your drink before you wrote this? KB nice guy, but it appears he has been on a free ride all the time. Better to make him team manager than coach if you want the 36ers to win! Rob B would be a much better replacement if Joey was not there.

Tokoto was not better than White. Not even close.

Just ask Tokoto and he will tell you how much better he is than White or anyone else in this league for that matter

Tokoto came in late and didn't help having Cooke jnr as the other import. Basically Perth this season have 3 out of the starting 5 that don't score.

Already going 3 against 5 and still have success, having a point guard to score 15—20 +cotton and white no need for a import big, brandt was enough.

Would Froling have any other NBL suitors or is he better off in Europe.

Someone here will sign Froling hoping they get the 2018/19 version not this season's version.

With all their Aussie stars ageing, Sydney desperately a couple more rule changes to help them cheat. They'll be able to poach Oliver and Machado in the off season, so then another 4 or 5 imports should make them competitive.

Illawarra will need somebody else to sell tee-shirts and support their business model.

Casper should naturalise.

Sydney could go with:

Oliver/Bogut/Hunter
Tate/Moller
Cooks/Newley
Import/Lisch
Ware/Next Star draftee with multiple years pro experience

And coached by calm Will Weaver

They might even be able to hang onto top spot next year instead of losing 5 from 7

"Brisbane:

Tick to the first two, but the Gliddon call... are you serious!? Gliddon's days as a starting quality player are over. After all, he had 2 points against Cairns last game matched up against their second stringer (Djeric). His confidence is shot and I can’t see him regaining it at his age where his athleticism is on the way down.
Patterson hasn’t been fit but has played well lately. He’s probably not motivated due to the teams performance. If they don’t re-sign him (which they should), they still need a starting import 3.

Moller has shown more than Cook before his injuries, he's better player in the three than Cook is as well. Can not see Tate being back unless his wage increases a lot so he could be fair game for other sides if he stays in nbl. United could be a great fit. I could see Cook more as starting four if that happens. Newley has had a very good season so I could see Moller as sixth man covering three and four spots. Moller would be a great asset to a lot clubs if he’s a free agent as well as he probably gets a starters spot on a lot teams.

It's Cooks I believe.

Sydney have high level players on paper.

But the team needs a heart transplant.

Their ejection fraction is down under 10%

Breakers will need a PG to replace Hampton. The club would love it to be Tai Webster. Also would like to get Jack Salt home to replace Majok, I would think.

Newspaper wrote Wildcats should go after Chris Goulding, Harry Froling, Angus Brandt, Jock Landale, Brock Motum.

Brandt
Landale
Motum
Goulding
Norton

What a team!

Goulding would give the Wildcats that outside scoring.
