Breakers v Kings Jan 17

It's season over for the Breakers, but that doesn't mean they won't make it hard for the Kings, who if they are not careful, the Cats will steal their crown.

The Breakers have choked the last two games to self implode on their wonder run. Now it's time for them to see if they can win 5 of their last 6 for a surprise entry into the four, plus rely on results. The Kings on the other hand, have gilded the lily and just can't seem to give up top spot regardless of what they try to do. Whenever they crumble and walk away with an L, the Cats seems to stumble as well. I'll warn you Cats fan, if the King choke, you guys will to against the SEM.

This will be a close game, but the Kings are top for a reason. No-ones dating a chick called Meghan so they won't need to run away and give up their title.

Kings by 5

They may have choked against Brisbane but not in Cairns.
Taipans showed they deserve their spot on the ladder and NZ played without Sek Henry and with a banged up Jarred Weeks.

I think Breakers will take this one at home. We should sit Bogut out the whole weekend IMO, he needs it, and we can get away without him against SEM on Sunday I think.

Three very good players out for the kings will make this very hard to win here. A loss and a big win by Perth and kings will be out of top spot on the ladder, it looks like kings gambling on a big run into finals with all on board and firing. NZ have every thing to play for, Ashleigh and foul trouble could be the key. Newley v Abercrombie could also decide this contest if Newley can lock down his man. If Casper punishes there guards and steps up big time kings could still snag a win.
OT and kings by one.

Why sydney fouling at the end 3 down. NZ had to shoot with 5 secs
The difference was four seconds. Assuming they force a miss on the buzzer they get the ball back with about two seconds left. Can't call timeout on a live ball so now they have two seconds to go length of the floor and get a look. Not happening.

Perth worlds B B. Salty indeed. Kings are underperforming badly. They should have beaten Breakers by 20. Poor coaching. Poor shot options. By the way Miller has been out for ages. Coach & players should have made the necessary adjustments & still haven't. Defense is important but if your shooting options are poor, you can’t defend well & players don’t listen to the coach you’ll keep getting the same result.
I’ll see Ware at training during the week & tell him personally.
Yes, I know him well enough to tell him when he sucks. That conversation will be had again this week

Dont forget the breakers played Jordan Ngatai and still won.

Mind you they could have really challenged themselves and played vodanavich.

Shamir's timeouts are pointless. All he ever does is draw up the next play - which never eventuates.
