Just finish high school first. If you're good enough, you'll be on a radar to get college interest. Go from there.

Well something is happening, some unis that has started try outs and recruiting students, here is the prospectus article and link

from University website

Eight universities will participate in the first year:

La Trobe University, Melbourne
Murdoch University, Perth
The University of Melbourne
The University of Sydney
The University of Western Australia
University of the Sunshine Coast
University of Technology Sydney
Victoria University, Melbourne
Endorsed by Basketball Australia, and supported by the respective State Basketball Associations, the inaugural UBL tournament will be played over nine weeks, with each participating university getting the opportunity to host and livestream the matches.

A university league without the best university team...hmmmm

^^^ haha, if you think the "best" players at a university all go to uni games you are mistaken. Most teams are out on the piss all week at uni games, so it really a fun week with some bball thrown in!

Or you could also say i'of you think the best Uni players aren’t NBL 1 or equivalent’ then you are mistaken.

Why would the better guys play in this useless league?

Why wouldn't they?

In Qld, what else do "better players" do with off time? Play even shittier ball or none at all.

Least this an option.
