This news slipped through the cracks, the NZ Breakers have re-signed both Finn Delany (2 years) and Rob Loe (3 years).

Great move by NZ to shore up their local contingent, especially with how both players have come on this season when healthy.

Delany has always had a high ceiling and he has been getting better year by year. Loe, however, I thought was overrated for much of his career. He was soft, didn't offer much rebounding or defence, and didn’t shoot the ball well enough for a "stretch" but in the modern game. But he has improved big time since last season at Cairns. He’s blocking shots, dunking the ball, and finally playing at the level he should have been at all along.

Delany is just so athletic and explosive. Great signing for NZ, everyone would have wanted this stud.

They could replace Majok with Salt.

Continuity with the local contingent is huge in the NBL. Smart move by NZ.

Delaney's gotten better every year, and at age 24 with about 5 years NBL experience under his belt, he should be entering his prime.

Loe 3 years, he's won lotto.
Stuck in NZ can’t play anywhere else and they offer that?
Mess of a club.

^ disagree.

Firstly, you don't know what he’s getting paid. Not sure how you can say he’s "won the lotto". Secondly, he’s played really well this year, and continuity is key. Breakers have been successful in the past when they kept a core together.

If I'm the Breakers I’d be trying to bring back basically the same team next season, including Hopson and Ashley. They had the right players, but the season was derailed by injuries. Look at their record for the second half once everyone was healthy.

Salt is playing in the NZNBL this season so I’m sure they will interested to see how he goes. Could be a replacement for Majok who didn’t get much game time.

This is Timmins last year in college isn't it? He’s more mobile and athletic than Salt.
