Defense isn't a big thing in Adelaide.
Well done DJ.

All but one of those were on teams that didn't make the playoffs, there might be something in that.

I'd be interested to see the voting, did someone like Ramone Moore earn votes, did Obie get any despite starting, was Harry Froling being the NBLs Jokic indicated in all his MVP votes?

Absolutely right Zodiac! It was his fault they didn't have good teams too, as he was the GM at the time! MVP is MVP! There is no asterisk. Whatever they put on the floor in those years he was the best. Basically all he can do. Great work though bro

Zodiac is just stating, that Johnson needs 2 or 3 better/team players/elite in NBL terms defenders around him for the team to win consistently.
Its not Johnson's fault the GM or coach base the team around Johnson being the 1 or 2 best player.
He's a great great complementary piece and was clearly the MVP this year.

Congrats but serious, MVP of sixers bit like being Mayor of Turd Town, but good job though, serious.

I hope DJ stays, he is sill one of the best offensive big men in the game.

His rip through is slower, but he can still light it up from range.

The key is you have to pair him up with someone opposite like a Plumlee who will plug the defensive holes DJ allows.
